Salary:
up to £65,000 dependant on experience

What you'll be doing:

Act as a Technical Lead in this domain, guiding people on a daily basis and acting as the focal point for determining and reviewing technical solutions
Support the resolution of problems and the improvement of engineering capability
Undertake a defined range of SI related, systems engineering activities in line with all relevant processes and quality requirements
Technical analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of technical options, and prepare reports with suggested recommendations
Investigations into operational problems or developments and develop and prepare solutions
Prepare specifications, develop designs in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards, and carry out design appraisals
Participate fully in capturing requirements, designing, implementing and testing software for the Shared Infrastructure system

Your skills and experiences:

Able to capture design and rationale solutions in a suite of documents
Ability to operate in a large, complex multiproject environment
Experience configuring remoting protocols for best performance Solid understanding of and experience designing commercial grade VDI solutions e.g. VMware Horizon, Citrix Xen Desktop, Teradici Cloud Access
