Description

As the Lower Limb Team Administrator, you will assist us in contributing to the provision of lower limb management across East Berkshire.

You will support the effective operation of the service by providing organisational and administrative skills and you will be the lead role in the triaging and management of new referrals.

This is a flexible role where you may be able to work from home whilst always maintaining the needs of the service.


  • Provide administrative skills and support the clinical team in the provision of lower limb management across East Berkshire.
  • Communicate with patients, carers, staff, and external organisations, such as GP Practices via telephone or letter.
  • Use initiative to be able to work autonomously whilst collaborating with our team to ensure a seamless service.
  • Provide administrative support to the team as required.
  • Be able to order equipment and supplies via NHS Supplies.
  • Work flexibly in response to service need.

The "must haves" for this role:

  • Good standards of IT and administrative skills
  • Willingness to undertake clinical triage of new referrals with support and training from clinical staff.
  • Ability to treat all people with kindness and compassion.
  • Excellent communication skills as you will be expected to liaise with patients, carers, and GP Practices daily.
