Experienced Bookkeeper

Bridge Fire and Security Ltd are a successful Fire Alarm and Security systems maintainer and installer based in High Wycombe.

To meet our growth plans we now need an experienced book keeper to assist in the growth of our business.

Initially a 4-month contract at £18 per hour for a 25-30hour week of 9.30am - 3pm typical working hours but can be flexible.

Immediate start.
Duties include

Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
Raising sales invoices.
Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
Completing VAT returns
Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the accountant of errors
Recording any inconsistencies to help the accountants reconcile inaccuracies
Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
Preparing employee wages information
Managing employee expense claims
Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
Management of debtor and creditor ledgers
Bank Reconciliation
Preparation of month end journals

Key skills:
Proficient in Excel and Sage.
Excellent communication and written skills, team player and the ability to work and think with own initiative.

Job Types:
Part-time, Temp to perm

Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
