Description
We are looking for a Packing Operative to join our assembly area team.


The Packing Operative's duties will include identifying tools, ensuring final quality checks, packing tools for despatch, and preparing customer orders for shipping.

The purpose of this role is to ensure accuracy and specification standards, whilst meeting the expectations and requirements of our worldwide customer base.


Responsibilities

  • Identify individual tools from our extensive range
  • Assemble a range of tools ready for branding
  • Provide quality control checks
  • Ensure tool specification is in line with customer requirements
  • Match the required items against customers sales orders
  • Prepare and pack orders for shipping worldwide
  • The physical assembly of tools
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and utilise space
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisor and coworkers
  • Stock counting and location checks
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment
  • Follow quality service standards, procedures, rules and regulations

Skills/Requirements

  • Packing experience
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Team player
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Literacy and numeracy
  • Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated and able to work on own initiative

Training Provided

  • Manual handling
  • Fork lift operation

  • Warehousing & Storage Certificate

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£10.50-£11.00 per hour
