My client have exciting growth plans, and are looking for a Legislation and Standards Consultant to join their UK safety and environmental protection capability to support their clients to understand and comply with UK safety legislation and particularly in compliance with UK MOD Safety and Environmental Protection policy.
My client are a multinational, world leading engineering, design, planning, architectural design, project management and consulting services organisation.

About the job:

They currently require the services of a Legislation and Standards Consultant


This role includes:

  • Support the maintenance, update and creation of legislative tools, including assessing the impact that new and/or amendments to legislation may have on existing legislation, customers and their assets.
  • Provide support in the creation of new and/or the update of existing customer compliance statements or activities, based on new or amended legislation.
  • Provide support to projects in meeting standards requirements, through the maintenance of standards and legislation databases, and recording of project compliance to applicable standards.
  • Support the delivery of Safety, Sustainability and Environmental Protection projects to schedule and budget, whilst meeting customer and internal expectations.

To be suitable for this role you will:
  • You will have practical experience in the development and management of UK legislation and standards
  • Authoring safety or environmental assessments
  • Have Knowledge of statutory safety and/or environmental legislation and how to attain, and manage, legislation compliance.

Role:
Legislation and Standards Consultant

Bath, Fareham, Glasgow, Plymouth or Weymouth (Hybrid/Home working will be offered)


Salary: 34-60K plus exceptional Benefits


Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens.

Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
