I am currently recruiting a Credit Controller for a Legal firm based in the city of London, close to St Paul station.

My client is a well established Legal Firm based in The City of London. Due to recent rapid growth, they are now looking to hire a Credit Conroller

This is a 3 month temporary to permanent role with hybrid working 3 days in the office / 2working from home.

Their offices are based in London, close to St Paul Tube Station.

Credit Controller, London

The role is to manage a portfolio of aged debtors to ensure those debts are collected, thus ensuring cash flow targets are being met and bad debts issues are minimised.

The role is key to ensuring the stability of cash flow. The role requires team workingto ensure that targets are met by the team as a whole, not individuals.

Responsibilities and duties:

Manage a portfolio of debtors to ensure that all invoices are collected within a maximum of 4 months of invoice date and no debts become bad
Set own work pattern within the collections plan to ensure targets are met
Work with the collections team to ensure that targets are met by the team as a whole
Liaise with the sales and finance teams to ensure queries are dealt with quickly and effectively to ensure prompt payment
Make corrections to invoices where applicable to ensure debts can be collected as quick as possible
Process card payments through the online portal
To assist the team in duties outside the normal scope when required
