Global Head of L2 Support - Manchester - Hybrid
You could be a key part of one of the world's biggest smart meter manufacturers now as a Global Head of L2 support You'll be accountable for the overall L2 support organisation, working closely with the IT organisation to ensure all escalated matters areresolved within a timely fashion.
In this role you will...
- Manage Global L2 Support strategies and Roadmap for all End User Desktop and peripheral devices
- Accountable for L2 support teams, which includes remediation's and interactions between other functional leads
- Supporting Microsoft, Linux and Mac environments
- Staff management in line with business expectations
- Contribute to global forums and projects as a representative for Client Services.
- Risk Mitigation strategies
- Development and empowerment of IT staff members.

- Strong leadership
- Project Management (waterfall and agile) methodologies knowledge
- Strong Hardware troubleshooting skills
- Flexible, responding to adverse situation quickly, and implement solutions.
- Technical expertise of Microsoft operating systems and Applications, PC and server level (Windows 10, Windows server 2012+ and Active Directory administration)
- Exposure to multidomain, multisite networks
