Description

A friendly and inclusive two form entry primary school located in Enfield, are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a student who has ASD and complex needs on a 1:1 basis.

This is a 1:1 support role, and you will be responsiblefor helping the student access the curriculum, develop their social skills, and manage any challenging behavior.

A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
Experience working with children with ASD and complex needs in a school or educational setting
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
A positive and proactive approach to problemsolving

This role is initially offered on a fixed-term contract until the end of the academic year, with a possibility of extension depending on the student's needs.

The salary will be in line with the National Joint Council for Local Government Services pay scales.
