Description
Start People are recruiting for our client in Peterlee for machine / bench joiners.

Working Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 5pm with the opportunity of overtime.


Duties:


  • Assemble and install wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications
  • Measure, cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine requirements
  • Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a joiner or machine operator
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Types:
Permanent, Temporary contract


Salary:
From £11.00 per hour
