Job Title:
Therapeutic Support Worker (Children's Service)


Location:
Wolverhampton WV10


Salary:
Up to £29,620* Includes Sleep ins

Sleep Ins:
£29,620.00 Includes 6 Sleep ins per month.


Other Benefits:
- £1000 bonus upon completion of Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) within the agreed timescale
- £1000 Refer a friend scheme (paid on completion of probation)

Hours:
Average 40 hours per week (7.30am pm)

Rota: 2 on 4 off


Contract:
Permanent

Job Summary:

This is a wonderful opportunity to start or continue your career in children's care.

This position is working in our home in Wolverhampton, supporting children with Mental Health difficulties, Learning Disabilities and behaviours that may challenge.

This home has recently been rated "Good" with Ofsted.
Every day as a Therapeutic Support Worker is different. You may be accompanying the children to appointments, or enabling them to follow their specific interests. Daily you will assist with personal care, complete daily records, and administer medication. You will create positive relationships with the children & young people, meeting their needs and always safeguarding them.

Qualification & Experience

  • Experience in Residential childcare (preferred, but not essential)
  • Hold a Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent (for qualified roles only)
