_Pertemps Recruitment are currently recruiting an
Accounts Assistantfor a great Financial Services provider based in
Central Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team a be a crucial member ofthe finance department._

  • This is a Permanent Full time role._


  • Monday

  • Friday pm_
  • Salary £22,500 £25,000 (depending on Experience)_
  • This is a very progressive Company and our client are willing to sponsor AAT qualifications for the new recruit._

_The main duties you will have as an

Accounts Assistant:

_:


  • _Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • ensuring all books and records are up to date so that year end accounts can be submitted_
- _Maintaining key client accounts_
- _Weekly debtors and creditors reporting_
- _Requesting information from clients (before accounts are submitted)_
- _Take client payments_
- _Managing mailbox ensuring invoices are posted correctly and answering client queries_
- _Ageing debtors monthly, for clients_
- _Inputting cheque information into sage & Excel_
- _Performing income distribution schedules and bank transfers _
- _Liaising with consultants secretaries - obtaining relevant document and information_
- _Chasing insurance providers (if necessary ) - obtaining overdue remittance advices_


_The Person Specification:

_:

- _Experience using Sage 50

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communications skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work to targets and take responsibility
  • Selfmotivated and hardworking
  • Admirable work ethic with an enthusiastic approach
  • Reliable & dependable to complete the task in hand_
