We are looking for teaching assistants to work in a Primary School located in Rochdale with Year 6 children in a general Teaching Assistant role.

Requirements:

Experience working with a KS2 environment
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
Eligibility to work in the UK ( No Sponsorships Provided )
Able to adapt to the different needs of each child
Flexibly adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional and friendly manner
Able to use initiative to do general tasks within the classroom.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring pupils stay on task
Controlling behaviour
Providing support to children on a 1to1 basis or in a group setting when required
Assisting the teacher in planning engaging lessons for the class in line with the curriculum
Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support.
