Main Duties:

You will play a key role in the organisation's growth plans by supplying the markets with expert financial and management accounting services whilst understanding the needs of Market Directors, budget holders and department heads, and building effectiveworking relationships.
Oversee the general financial management of the Markets and ensure the maintenance of accurate financial records, including reconciliation and processing of journals where necessary.
Provide regular and ad hoc insightful analysis for decision making including project and product performance reporting.
Working closely in partnership with the markets and their teams to carry out strategic reviews such as financial forecasting and annual budgeting, business cases and tenders.
Lead on the annual exam fee setting for the relevant markets, along with the setting of in market examiner remuneration.
Assist in the implementation of new processes, systems and reporting techniques.
Working with other teams across finance to investigate any issues and ensure that we provide consistent and joinedup views.
Assist the finance team's focus on transforming and improving financial processes by putting forward recommendations on how existing processes can be improved.
Assist in all internal and external audit activities for the Markets.

Person Specification:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Strong communication with a history of building strong relationships in a business partnering role.
Confident in advising, challenging and negotiating with people, often senior to yourself, with different backgrounds and viewpoints.
Good financial and analytical skills to be able to digest large amounts of information with attention to detail when working under pressure.
Experience of working in a multicultural and multisite organisation.
Knowledge of Sun Accounting System (preferable).
Knowledge and understanding of Siebel or any other similar integrated CRM system (preferable)
