BIA People is a hospitality staffing agency that offers part-time flexible jobs all over the UK


We are searching for Kitchen Assistant to join our events team to flexibly support our catering teams across the area, by assisting in the preparation and serving of high quality food and drink to our customers in an efficient and effective manner, minimising waste.

To be responsible for hygiene and cleanliness within any food preparation areas you are working in. To always operate in a safe manner, observing company health and safety policies and guidelines.


You will be responsible for the following tasks as part of your job:

  • You will be expected to work in a fast paced, bustling kitchen environment
  • Provide outstanding food that is delivered and presented to an exceptional standard
  • Ensuring all food is produced to the highest working guidelines on food preparation
  • Ensuring your team is working in adherence with company policy, service and staff welfare
  • Working as part of a small or large team
  • Adhering to all health and safety practices
  • Performing to a high standard including presentation, attendance and communication.
  • Put effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
To be considered for the position, you must be able to display excellent attention to standards and instructions given.

Experience/Qualification requirements:


  • Level 2 Food Safety
  • Level 2 Health and Safety
  • Food Allergens
  • Two years minimum of culinary experience at Kitchen Assistant level
  • Valid driving licence & your own vehicle _(Must be able to get to and from work that unsociable hours)_
