Great news An opportunity has come up for a permanent Category Executive to join our team.

We're looking for an inspiring and engaging team player to support the development and execution of the Category strategy and to understand the shopper and consumer insight together with brand marketing in order to contribute to the future development and performance of Dr.

Oetker brands.

We're really looking for someone who can support the Category team in delivering insight to all our retailers across both Pizza and Cake.

Your Future:
What will I be doing?

Your role is to lead the agenda and develop the Category relationships, across all levels, within the specified channels.
You will be able to help identify and understand shopper and consumer insight using data.
You'll be able to demonstrate experience of building positive category relationships with customers, both internally and externally. This will include presenting and contributing in regular meetings following analysis of market data information including summaries covering key trends, issues and opportunities.
Regular store visits and audits will be undertaken to ensure customer compliance.
You will be a role model for DOUK and make positive contributions to the development of the Category Team.

Your Strengths:
What skills do I need to succeed?

You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a Commercial role using data to drive your decision making. It would be great if you have previous commercial background within a branded environment.
Ideally, you'll need experience of working with IRI and Kantar and all Microsoft Office packages and have a high level of analytical and data interpretation.
You will be able to provide examples of key project work and success stories, specifically on working as part of a team and using strong communication skills.
As we are a food company, being passionate about food and the desire to learn more about a commercial environment is a must.
You will be a self motivated, driven and customer focussed individual.

This role is hybrid based (minimum of 2 days a week in our Leeds office).

You do need to be able to visit our Leyland Production site and other external locations for face to face collaboration and to meet business requirements when required.
