Who we are looking for:

We're looking for an ambitious Finance Business Partner who will report into the European Financial Controller, providing Finance support to the relevant site Managing Director.

Sitting on the Senior Leadership Team for the site, you will have responsibility for all Commercial financial aspects and you are expected to analyse figures and terms, implement recommendations based on these findings, producing the most profitable outcomes.

You will have excellent communication skills with all levels of staff, often having to work with various departments to help them plan and manage their own budgets and costs.

Responsibilities:

Commercial Finance - Full responsibility for your site's financial performance. Reporting to the European Financial Controller but with a strong working relationship with the site MD - you will be the finance "go to" lead. This will include reviewing new & existing contracts, ensuring that the needs of the client, the business and our team are met to produce the best possible result. With a close eye on your working capital, you will be responsible for the best commercial & compliant position on areas such as debt, inventory levels and rebates. You will need to feel confident challenging the business on areas of financial performance. This will feed into regular forecasting from you on your site, as well as the annual budgeting process.

Leadership - As the finance head on your sites' Senior Leadership Team, you will need to show drive, determination and a "clear headed but confident" approach. You will be responsible for ensuring your peers receive clear, meaningful finance information and of course, direction on finance matters.

Team Management - Our Management Accountant will need you to support them fully in their career at Brand Addition, ensuring they have the right tools & training to do their job and progress - we believe succession planning is key to team stability. It's important that each team is a smooth working cog within the wider finance team and the wider business, which comes from excellent team management.

What you'll need:

The position requires someone who is highly computer literate, with excellent Excel skills. Effective organizational ability and time management skills are crucial, and you must be able to work to tight deadlines.
Teamwork is essential in this role therefore you must be team orientated and able to maintain positive, supportive relationships with your colleagues at all times. Previous experience in a fast moving finance environment is essential.
A background in an international products based business would be advantageous.
