Description
Focusing on advancing our decarbonisation efforts through developing and implementing robust carbon performance frameworks for our investment portfolios.

Having direct impact on the businesses net zero transition and the clients' investment strategies.

Advancing the development of methodologies to assess the carbon performance of investments and providing expertise and leadership in climate science to help shape the overall direction of the team's technical work

Deliver projects to support the transition to net zero of our investments.

Undertake bespoke analysis of climate related data, contribute to reports and work with the Head of Net Zero Solutions and others to increase dissemination and uptake of outputs and be required to support the implementation of the net zero road map

Providing input and analysis to help commercialise our net zero proposition.

Work in partnership with other internal teams undertaking work relevant to our net zero strategy and with external consultants

Profile
Solid and extensive relevant experience built in similar roles within financial services, delivering climate-focused technical leadership.

Strong experience using climate data and very good knowledge of ESG / climate data sets and providers

Knowledge of how ESG/Climate considerations can impact portfolio construction and investment performance is desirable but not necessary

Knowledge of or previous experience in adaptation and resilience or nature-based solutions would be a plus.
