Description
SWGR are actively seeking a HR Assistant to join our HR team based in our Glasgow office.This is an ideal role for anyone with a strong administrative background with a little HR experience looking for a position to grow in.
Job Purpose:
To support the Business Services Manager in all areas of her responsibility through the provision of an efficient and professional general administration support service to the Human Resources team thereby ensuring that all HR procedures are processed accurately and within specified timescales.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Accuracy within the general HR processes and procedures adhering to specified timescales.
- Maintain and update files and records on Cascade HR Management System.
- Process all company leavers in line with procedures.
- Manage the recovery of expenditure process and tracker.
- Organise internal meetings taking responsibility for the boardroom diary.
- Take minutes at any HR related meetings including disciplinary/grievance investigations/hearings.
- Assist in the recruitment process including creating job adverts and telephone interview screenings.
- Ensure compliance with all departmental processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external audit requirements.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your knowledge and skills.
Knowledge, Experience and Education Requirements
Ideally Level 3 Certificate in Human Resource Practice (CIPD) or a formal business administration qualification such as SVQ Level 3 in Business Administration with a demonstrable track record of skills/experience gained within a similar position within a HR function.
Hours of work
Monday - Thursday 9am until 5pm
Friday 9am until 3:45pm with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
