Description

Working in a busy Sales Office advising, quoting and selling Mild steel Flame, Laser cut flat and Press Brake profiles.


Essentials:

  • Understand the laser cut process
  • Sales and estimating experience
  • 2d CAD & nesting experience


  • Computer skills

  • Microsoft packages
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship skills
  • Numeracy & literacy skills
  • Good market awareness
  • Good product knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Energetic and proactive approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and to timescales

Desirables:

  • Knowledge of the press brake process
  • CAM quoting/ nesting software experience (Lantek, Trutops, Bysoft and Radan)

Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Sell company products and services to current and potential customers to achieve individual and company targets ensuring customer relationship is maintained.
  • With an awareness of the current market values, prepare quotations using the most cost effective method.
  • Follow up on quotations to secure the order and collect feedback for future quotations.
  • Liaise with external representatives to develop new leads that they generate.
  • Gain market knowledge, research and Identify new opportunities.
  • Raise sales orders
  • Liaise with production
  • Raise NCR report

Salary:
£21,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
