The lung function and sleep diagnostics departments at City and QMC site are rapidly developing.

You will be working in the busy diagnostic lung function and sleep services unit at City or QMC campus where all training is performed in-house to deliver a range of respiratory related breathing tests including the collection and analysis of blood samples.

In addition to basic sleep investigations.
You will perform some administrative duties related to your clinical role.


You will be working with the general public both face to face and on the telephone as part of a team and independently and you may be on your feet for a long period of the day therefore a basic level of fitness is essential.


There is an expectation that dependent on the service needs, you would be able to work across the main sites within Nottingham University Hospitals of City Hospital and Queens Medical Centre.


See attached job description; to be part of a team of physiologists performing a range of basic routine and more complex respiratory and sleep physiological measurements to appropriate standards and in accordance with local and national guidelines.

During employment the post holder will be supervised whilst training until proven competent to practice. All relevant mandatory training is provided.


As part of the interview process you will be asked to perform a short presentation, the title of which will be given to if you are successfully shortlisted.
