About The Role:


Based in Northampton and reporting to the Head of Library and Knowledge Management Services we are open to a hybrid working pattern, but you must be able to work from the Northampton office for at least three days a week.


Responsibilities to include:


  • Responding to help requests on using and accessing our legal databases and resources
  • Supporting users in using the resources provided by the Knowledge Management Team
  • Assisting in creating and updating user guides and resource documents (under the guidance of the Head of Team)
  • Assisting in creating newsletters and updates for our intranet site
  • Creating and updating spreadsheets to aid in the administration of our resources
  • Some spreadsheet analysis to aid usage statistic reporting
  • Assist in the circulation of print text and journals and filing of looseleaf updates
  • Undertake routine administrative tasks for the team

About You:


  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience of working in a client facing environment
  • Excellent IT skills including good knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
  • The ability to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience in working in a library or law firm is preferable, but not essential
