About the Trust
Manchester Eye Hospital is located on Oxford Road, and it is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is onsite parking (Fees will apply) in the multi storey car parks on Grafton Street and Hathersage Road. There is a café where drinks and light snacks are available.


What you'll be responsible for:


  • Taking minutes in meetings and distribute and monitor outstanding actions are allocated and completed in a timely way.
  • Ensuring the admin team targets are achieved e.g., information queries, patient queries, support to the wider clinical team including the complementary and psychological therapy teams.
  • Setting up and oversight of Teams / Zoom calls for teaching and meetings.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above


You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:


  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and organisational skills.
  • Previous team leader experience.
  • Previous scheduling and booking experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • System knowledge of HIVE. (Desirable)
