We are pleased to offer part time hours of 15/week to cover the South Nottinghamshire Healthcare Forensic Division dysphagia service.

The role will be working into Wells Road Low Secure Forensic Hospital, Nottingham, and Arnold Lodge Medium Secure Forensic Hospital, Leicester.

More hours may be available on a temporary basis, please enquire.

This post is part of a job share for the role of Forensic Dysphagia Lead.

The whole dysphagia service covers all forensic hospitals of the trust, also including Rampton High Secure Hospital and Wathwood Medium Secure Hospital.


The role of the Forensic Dysphagia Lead includes direct clinical interventions for patients with dysphagia needs, working in an integrated manner with the different sites within the Forensic Division in order to identify and address staff training needs, advise on policy and procedures and lead on supporting the continuing professional development of the wider Forensic SLT service in regards to dysphagia.

There may be scope to work on communication needs in some circumstances.
