Our client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their friendly team. As a Bookkeeper, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple clients across various industries.
Prior accountancy practice experience is highly advantageous, and proficiency in Xero and SAGE Line 50 software is essential.


Duties:


  • Handle Sales and Purchase Ledger activities.
  • Perform Bank and Credit Card reconciliation.
  • Submit VAT & CIS returns.
  • Manage Credit Control tasks.
  • Oversee supplier payments.
  • Work with incomplete records.
  • Post Journals.
  • Reconcile control accounts.
  • Prepare management accounts.
  • Compile yearend files for their accountants.

Requirements:


  • Desirable prior experience in a practice or multiindustry setting.
  • Proficiency in using Xero and SAGE 50 software.
  • AAT Level 3 or higher (or an equivalent qualification).

Benefits:


  • 4.5 days of work a week (Friday half day).
  • 37.5 hours.
