Are you a creative that's crazy about social? Do you thrive on popular culture? Is creating and editing social content your bag? We are looking for a social media-first creative to join our rapidly expanding team


We are looking for an ambitious digital/social creative to create campaigns that stand out on social but extend beyond the platforms to become part of popular culture and build on brand.

They will work with our social, PR and creative teams to develop ideas that create buzz on social media.

They will develop and create stand-alone social campaigns and ideas as well as taking ATL ideas and developing them into social content.

Our clients range from entertainment to lifestyle and healthcare.

Bridging the gap between brand and social we expect our creative and social teams to come up with things that scare clients [a little] and ensure the brand is talked about and always driving engagement.


As part of the McCann LIVE UK team, the social creative will have the backing of one of the UK's largest and most awarded networks.

They will work with a wider dedicated social creative and planning team. They will need to come up with social specific ideas and create the content for those ideas.


The person we have in mind must be extremely proficient in creating and editing social, short-form content on a mobile device.

They'll be passionate about social with a strong knowledge of what engages people, what communities are talking about and know how to tap into popular cultural trends.

Their ideas will stop thumbs, make people smile and be shared across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.


We don't need someone to make ads, but someone to create cultural moments.

Responsibilities

  • To create cutthrough ideas for leading clients
  • Always strive for creative excellence
  • Ideation for concepts, content and format ideas
  • Take ownership of your creative: from conception to production
  • As well as concepts, have the creation skills to bring them to life in social statics and video content
  • Push the boundaries for innovation on social platforms
  • Contribute to pitches
  • Collaborate with creative teams, designers and production as well as other internal teams
  • Digitally savvy using the latest features on your mobile device and experimenting with social apps to create the most engaging content
