We are seeking a visionary leader to become our next Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) at the University of London, the UK's leading provider of digital and blended distance education internationally.

Our federation consists of seventeen independent members, working together to deliver the best education in London and across the world.

As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will work closely with the Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research and Public Engagement) to uphold our distinctive academic mission.

In this role, you will provide strategic leadership for the quality and direction of our education programs, particularly in distance education.

Collaborating with international and UK partners, you will champion access to education for global communities, positioning the University as a recognised leader in innovative distance learning.

Your responsibilities will include articulating and implementing the University's educational mission and strategy, leading the development and oversight of our academic portfolio, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will also represent the University's interests to professional bodies and oversee the training of academic staff.

To excel in this role, you should possess a distinguished academic background (PhD expected) with extensive senior leadership experience in higher education, preferably with an international dimension.

You should be a recognised authority on transnational education with a track record of innovative approaches. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of higher education policy and emerging trends.
