Teaching Assistant / Mentor (PRU) - Horsham, West Sussex - Full-time - Start September

Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for our client, a fantastic, forward-thinking & ambitious Alternative Provision school in Horsham.

The pupil community is diverse & spans KS3 & KS4.

You will support the team in providing an opportunity for these young people to re-engage and enjoy the core curriculum, as well as other activities.


£72 per day minimum (£11.07 per hour)

Requirements:


  • Experience working with children & young people with behaviour management
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one (we can help you to obtain one before your start date)
  • Able to adapt to the different needs of each student
  • Confident working with children & young people in Alternative Provision/Pupil Referral Unit
  • Experience working with children & young people in Alternative Provision/Pupil Referral Unit (desired)

Responsibilities:


  • Support class teacher
  • Support the pupils
  • Understand individual needs & adapt approach
