We are currently seeking a teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 6 child who has behavioural difficulties in Manchester.

This role will involve working with selected pupils out of the classroom situation, including pupils who may be excluded or otherwise not working to a normal timetable.

As a teaching assistant in this role, you will develop 1:1 mentoring arrangements with pupils that enable them to agree on plans and targets to move forwards, providing information and advice to help them make choices about their own learning, behaviour, and attendance.

You will also provide support to enhance pupils' emotional health and well-being (EHWB), helping them to follow individual Education Plans where appropriate.
