Job Advert:

The Duty Officer role carries a certain amount of responsibility.

The role mainly consists of duties of a Civil Enforcement Officer but on occasions especially at weekends the Duty Officer will take on supervisory duties.

When the Lead Officers are not on duty the Duty Officer will make sure that the team is prepared for their shifts and all of their requirements are met in order for them to carry out their day to day duties.

On some occasions the Duty Officer will be required to cover the Control Desk and communicate with customers on the phone and operating the car park system.

You will also cover other Duty Officers annual leave and rest days this sometimes can be at short notice.

Taking out the Enforcement vehicle will also be part of the Duty Officer role when needed.

Senior staff will expect any issues to be relayed to them by the Duty Officers such as any problems that have came to light while they are on duty.
