Description

The family of a 13-year-old boy with Severe Autism in the _
Whitehaven _
area are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant/Care Worker to support their son 1-1 in the local community.

Support will include (but not limited to):

- Supervision whilst playing both inside and outside

- Confidence building through visits out without parents to activities

- Engaging with outdoor activities away from home.

- Promoting Independence

Flexible support is required to cover Annual Leave and Additional Hours as and when required on a 'flexi/zero-hour contract' basis.

It is essential that applicants have prior experience supporting children with autism / SEND.

A Full UK driving licence and access to transport is also essential for this role.
