An extremely exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the Cancer Services team in a new innovative position of Radiology Cancer Pathway Navigator at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust.

Whilst this role would support with the coordination of imaging for all cancer specialties, there would be a focus on arranging Chest x-rays (Cx3) for our Lung patients.


The Cancer Services team are working hard to implement and achieve the early diagnostic pathway for patients with a suspected cancer, aiming to provide a definitive diagnosis by day 28 of the referral from GP.

The navigator will be involved from the beginning of the pathway to work both directly and indirectly with both patients and their carers to assist in coordinating the patient pathway.

The role of the navigator will be to improve the timeliness of the patient journey and the patient's overall experience.
