BME Specialist Worker ( Neath and Port Talbot)


Bawso is the lead organisation in Wales providing practical and emotional support to black minority ethnic (BME) and migrant victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, Female Genital Mutilation and forced marriage.

We are seeking to appoint for the following position:

BME Specialist Worker (Female)
**Location: Neath and Port Talbot

Hours: 15 hrs per week

  • Thu-Fri

Salary:
£23,172 per annum pro rata

Contract length:
up to 31st March 2024


The aim is to work within a community development framework, the worker will be responsible for raising awareness of VAW, FGM, HBV and Forced Marriage in practicing communities and to support women and girls to challenge the custom within South West Wales Area.


This role is restricted to female applicants only in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
