We are currently recruiting for a friendly, dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming middle school in Prudhoe.

The school is looking for a proactive and confident Teaching assistant that can contribute to the learning of children across classes.

The role:

Teaching Assistant role in Prudhoe
Fulltime, Term-Time position, Monday
Friday, 8.30am 3:30pm
Immediate starts available | £ £12 per hour
Primary Teaching Assistant based across KS2 and KS3

Job specification:

Minimum of a Level 2 qualification within childcare
Strong A-Level and GCSE grades
Experience of working with children in a school setting

- speech and language needs and SEMH needs

Training related to SEND e.g. Autism Awareness; Zones of Regulation; Team Teach (safe handling)
Experience of working 1:1 or with small groups
Experience of/training in phonics & early reading
Interest in Autism, Speech and Language
