38 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 07:00 15:45 Friday 07:30 12:00)

This company specialise in the design and manufacturing of mechanical equipment. They are looking to take on a confident CNC machinist for their ever-growing business.

The role:

For the role as a CNC Machinist your day-to-day tasks will be to:

Set and Operate CNC Milling Machine Centres using Fanuc/ G-Codes
You will be generating and amending CNC machine programmes.
Wherever possible, identify and obtain tooling, fixtures, and machine programme requirements in advance of starting the job in order to reduce spindle stop time,

The person:

As a CNC Machinist you will have:

Experience in maintaining rough and finish milling, drilling, tapping, reaming and finish bore tooling is essential,
Experience programming on either Gcode, Fanuc controls,
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand specifications and tolerances,
Must be a confident individual to be able to assist or instruct other operatives,
Must be able to use inspection equipment,
