HMP Forest Bank are looking for a passionate, proactive and reliable night HCA to complete shifts from 19.45pm am on a 7 on and 7 off rotation.
Patient care is at the centre of what we do and we are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed health care professional who wants to make a difference to our patient's lives.
As a health care assistant, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, whilst being a support and resource to other staff.
You will be working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, alongside the substance misuse team and mental health teams.
There are great opportunities for training and development and the opportunity to work with interesting patients and learn new skills.
If you are self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing plenty of initiative when it comes to handling a wide range of situations, then this could be the right role for youNight duties include; but are not limited to:
Administrative tasks - being computer literate is essential
Responding to emergency call outs alongside the registered nurse
Providing emergency care and supporting the registered nurse as needed (venepuncture/ECG's/Observations/BLS)
Stock Taking/Ordering
Cleaning
