Role Overview
To provide compliance related administrative support to a dynamic, fast paced and growing department. Primarily being the key liaison between the auctions team and all counter parties e.g. answering telephone queries from prospective buyers, registration of bidders and dealing with post/pre auction compliance checks. Additionally, providing ongoing support to the Compliance Co-ordinator with seller ID checks.


Key Responsibilities
Leading the way for all buyers compliance, this includes and is not limited to:

  • Answering the auctions phone to general enquires, assisting the individual or passing the matter onto the relevant person.
  • Reviewing and approving bidder registrations / liaising with bidders to obtain additional information where insufficient.
  • Responding to all ID and compliance related bidding enquiries and helping individuals through the registration process.
  • Liaising with purchasers post auction to obtain the correct ID documentation for individuals or corporate entities.
  • Sending out ThirdFort ID checks to private purchasers, assisting struggling individuals and sending failed checks / PEPs to the relevant compliance team.
  • Chasing the buyers / compliance analysts for updates.
  • Communicating with the central compliance team where appropriate, sending over ID checks and requested information.
Assisting our Auctions Compliance Co-ordinator, this includes and is not limited to:

  • Downloading title documentation for the properties we are instructed to sell.
  • Communicating with sellers and their solicitors to obtain ID documentation and title clarification where appropriate.
  • Sending out ThirdFort ID checks to individual sellers and sending failed checks / PEPs to the relevant compliance team.
  • Having the ability to fully cover the Compliance Coordinator role for short periods of time such as over holiday and sickness leave.
  • Sending out terms of business to clients

Key Skills

  • Confident telephone manner
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams is essential

Team Overview
We are growing team of 24 having expanded 7 individuals in the last year.

Made up of 14 negotiators (4 commercial and 10 residential) and 10 operations staff, we work together to co-ordinate the sale of thousands of unique properties up and down the country.

In 2023 alone we marketed nearly 3,000 properties and 2024 is looking to be even more with 16 auctions.

It's a fast paced environment so we are predominantly working in the office, most team members are in 4 days a week at least.

There is flexibility to work from home if needs be.
