Finance Business Partner |Wirral |£50,000 - £55,000 + suite of benefits

The Opportunity


Tired of bog standard reporting and routine month end? Looking for a role that will allow you the freedom and exposure to make an actual difference.

Looking for something that is genuine finance business partnering rather than glorified management accounting?

This is out and out business-facing partnering. Providing insightful and influential challenge as a critical friend to the operational team and project managers.


It's a large scale manufacturing business and you'll be working with talented colleagues on a diverse array of interesting projects.


Plenty of autonomy to allow you to shine but balanced with high quality mentoring from some incredibly capable colleagues (including a hugely approachable and commercially savvy FD).

You'll be using your commerciality, analytical and communication skills to really get under the bonnet of performance. Shining a vital light on cost trends, variances, forecasts, plans, budgets. You'll be working with senior leadership teams to optimizeperformance and strive toward excellent.

  • You'll ideally be qualified CIMA (or equivalent) with obvious commerciality and a naturally proactive approach to problem solving.
  • You'll be someone with confident communication skills and a professional and friendly approach to working with colleagues across other functions of the group.
  • You'll have firm core management accounting / analytical skills and good working knowledge of Excel.


This is a fully fledged business partnering role - a super step for an ambitious qualified accountant looking to make the move away from traditional financial reporting / month end and toward commercial finance.

Your remit has an element of routine accounting/ reporting but the majority of your time is focused on added value activities.
