PERMANENT FINANCE/ACCOUNTS - MILTON KEYNES - £30 - £35,000 + bonus

This could suit someone who has an AAT qualification or similar and had their first job or so but now looking to take the next step in their career.

In return, what we need from you: -

  • Qualified / working towards ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualifications as a minimum.
  • Intermediate Excel experience with knowledge of accounting software/databases
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Calm, professional, unflappable approach. I am sure that is fairly standard when you are dealing with month end
  • Flexible attitude and willingness to adapt
  • If you have experience of external Financial Audit or an FMCG environment that would be ideal but not essential


  • Working Monday

  • Friday 8.30am 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch

Daily duties are likely to involve: -
Overseeing the day to day aspect of the accounts department which will involve:

  • Analyse monthly P&L's and monitor the budget.
  • Dealing with HMRC
  • Providing financial information to auditors
  • Ensuring all confidential information is kept secure whilst handling sensitive data
  • Prepare and submit financial report, reviewing actual versus forecast
  • Administer supplier payments and cash management daily, weekly and monthly
  • Be aware and keep up to date with legislation whilst looking to improve the company practice
  • Liaise with Head Office internal departments and management
  • Be instrumental in selecting and training any future employees into the department
