PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Role Overview

The Global Cosmetics Planning Hub manages supply of 500M+ units of global brand cosmetics (Max Factor, Rimmel, Covergirl, Sally Hansen, Bourjois, Manhattan) to 45 global markets via a network of 27 DCs.


Site Integrated Planner core responsibilities:

To develop timely and accurate schedules for finished and non-finished products for in house production sites Deployment of inventory across the Coty network, ensuring service and inventory targets are achieved.

The Site Integrated Planner may be focused entirely on one of the below aspects, or a combination depending on the business area and need: MPS/


FG :
generate and issue timely and accurate production plans / schedules for the Manufacturing Operation within each Production Site
MSP/N


FG :
ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials required for effective production plans / schedules, for the Manufacturing Operation within each Production Site


Deployment :

Use iDEP tool to execute deployment of inventory across the Coty network, ensuring service and inventory targets are achieved.

SIP Key Success Measures
Service - Delivering the Customer Fill Rate targets as a Global Value Stream
Inventory - Managing inventory performance ($M, SS, DOH) to target
Ensuring production capacity is balanced in line with structural staffing
Capacity -Identifying risks to ongoing demand from the production site (C: D >1.3)
VAR/E&O - Drive the work to minimise VAR (Value at Risk) and Excess & Obsolete inventory generation.
Master Data Accuracy - Ensure creation and maintenance of MD elements on time and quality.


MPS/FG:
Schedule adherence and output reliability


MSP/NFG:
Supplier Schedule Performance (OTIF, etc)


Deployment:
Plan Versus Ship.

Successful delivery of new product initiatives and PIPO (Phase In Phase Out)


MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES


Build Relationships Develop and maintain pro-active relationships with internal hub partners (SIP, IP, DRP, CSP, MSM, INV), Manufacturing sites (namely Operations SPOC) and suppliers to facilitate stronger results through effective collaboration.


Continuous Improvement Contribute to the successful execution of Supply Chain projects Support in the training and onboarding of new/less experienced individuals.

Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and tools using analytical and problem-solving skills Embrace a culture of continuous improvement where ideas and improvements to ways of working are encouraged


Technical:
All role variants: Initiatives Understand Initiatives impacting the supply chain (capacity, lead times, first order timings). Proactively identify Fill Rate and Inventory risks and solve/communicate as appropriate


Master Data:
Setup and maintain accurate SAP, OMP, JDA master data (e.g. MRP 1-4 & Work Scheduling, Recipes, Production Versions & Quotas, Schedule Agreements) in line with Operating Strategy.


Optimization:
Measure & drive simplification & continuous improvement via standard work processes within their own area of responsibility. Contribute to the development and implementation of supply chain projects


Technical:
MPS specific: Schedule: Ensure valid production capacity plans in OMP/SAP throughout the horizon defined in the Operating Strategy. Communication of production plans daily to the Production site and resolution of issues daily, weekly and monthly. Review and execution of daily exception message management in SAP/OMP.

Management of daily Fill Rate risks via collaboration and communication with SIP MPS, SIP MSP, DRP, MSM escalating for leadership support where required Identify critical supply constraints and develop / contribute to action plans to avoid Fill Rate and production operation impacts Integrate Initiative finished product plans across the defined planning horizon Capacity:
Deliver short-term capacity assessment for relevant production assets and highlight any gaps and propose/drive solutions


Inventory:
Manage run-out, discontinued, and obsolete Finished products within the planning systems. Participates in and contributes to monthly Inventory Parameter reviews in collaboration with DRP and inventory. Communicates inventory drivers which influence and accountable for delivering inventory targets.


Communication:
Report up to date production information on low stocks and out of stock reports. Report up to date information of component deliveries, Line trial and Demi Grand activity on the production schedule.

Risk analysis and Fill Rate Root causing:

Own the risk reporting and communication with DRP Availability Planners Support DRP Availability Planners with RCA for cuts, network risk Support responses to GOAL requests via value streams, as required.


Optimization:
Drive Finished Goods MOQ and production frequency optimization interacting with Plant Operations team, Inventory and other Key partners
