Sign Express are looking for an Assistant Accountant who will join their team

Assistant Accountant Responsibilities:

Raising invoices
Dealing with customer queries on sales invoices and posting of credit notes
Bank weekly and monthly reconciliations
Generating customer statements.
Matching supplier invoices purchase orders and delivery notes.
Coding and posting of purchase invoice on to the system and managing items in dispute.
Supplier statement reconciliations and dealing with supplier queries.
Posting of credit card and petty cash transactions.
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Additional responsibilities will include preparing labelling and paperwork/organisation of packages for daily courier collections and occasional office paperwork.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Effective organisational skills and time management skills
Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment
Sage 50 experience is essential
Good Excel skills including formulas.
Working towards AAT qualification, AAT qualified or qualified by experience
Experience in a similar role.

Package:

- up to £24k depending on experience

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Salary:
up to £24k depending on experience
