Wye Valley NHS Trust is pleased to be expanding its practice education team to include an AHP education lead. We are able to offer one full time post or two part time posts of 3 days a week.

We are looking to work across Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and work closely with Radiography and Operating Department Practitioners, where possible.


The successful applicants will be able to work flexibly, supporting clinical educators, students and newly qualified staff to provide training and support in many ways.


This is a permanent integrated role working alongside Wye Valley NHS Trust Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHP) clinical managers and the University of Worcester (UoW) to support clinical educators within our workforce to provide high quality clinical practice placements and expand the available placement opportunities for the wider system.

The post holder will provide support and guidance in the delivery of high quality innovative practice for AHPs. They will work in partnership with stakeholders to ensure the development of inter professional learning opportunities in practice.

In addition they will ensure that appropriate learning environments are created and maintained to drive the integration of theory with practice.
