We are offering an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Team Leader in the Urology service at Ashford and St Peters Hospitals, due to the last post holder receiving a promotion.

The post will be of interest to those who wish to pursue a career in hospital management and would like to gain more experience in a busy service with a wide variety of challenges.


The role will involve day to day management and support of the Urology Team, specifically the surgical booking team, 18 Week Pathways, Oncology, and Cancer Performance.

The Team Leader will act as an essential point of contact for staff and all patients waiting for an outpatient procedure /diagnostic appointment and cancer support.

We are looking for someone with good knowledge of the national 18 week targets, and national cancer wait times.

We are looking for someone with experience in operational management or leading teams, who is enthusiastic and has a positive approach to challenges.

You will need to have high level of organisational skills and be able to communicate with a wide range of health care professionals as well as patients and their relatives.
