We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative for our veterinary practice/warehouse based in Metheringham on a six month fixed term contract We currently dispense to clients across the UK and EU, to independent food producers and other veterinary practices.


  • Assist the warehouse team with picking and packing orders for dispatch via courier, keeping all relevant records.
  • Assist in monthly stock take and submitting stock numbers to the accounts department.
  • Ensure goods are received, marked or labelled and stored in the appropriate section in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure orders are picked and packed according to requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining the stock quality, perform stock counts, maintain accuracy of data and the tidiness of the working environment at all times.
  • Ensuring all records are kept up to date.
  • Be able to operate computerised systems.
  • Ensure quality procedures are followed, follow good health and safety practice and conform to any current legislative requirements as instructed by your manager.
  • Able to undertake warehouse admin duties and deal effectively with queries and correspondence.
A full job description and person specification is available on request. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday (37.5 hour week) - start date 3rd July 2023.
