Position Summary:

We are on the lookout for a Yard Person to join our clients' team near Lambourn

About the Yard Person Role:

Competitive Salary of up to £29K per annum, dependant on experience + profit related bonus (twice a year)
Full time role, working hours are Monday to Friday 7am4pm
Based in Lambourn area (20 minutes from Swindon / Newbury). Due to location you will need to be able to drive or live locally
Permanent role to start ASAP

Duties & Responsibilities for the Yard Person Role:

You will work under the direction and supervision of the Yard Manager.
Undertake general yard duties, following the daily schedule, move manufactured goods to appropriate areas to avoid cross contamination and allowing free flow of traffic.
Assist with the preparation of all plant returned to the yard which is required on site.
Report to Yard Manager all relevant information and/or abnormalities of any incoming or outgoing materials, collections on behalf of clients and the timely manufacture in line with the schedule.
Where knowledgeable, assist with structural and equipment repairs and any required cleaning
Good communication/liaison with the Operations and Yard Managers, to ensure equipment is ready for use.
Comply with the Company's Health and Safety Regulations.
Undertake groundworks at sites as required, in the role of plant operator and/or labourer.

Experience / Skills Required for Yard Person Role:

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Ability to drive company vehicle to job sites.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Must have basic gardening tools knowledge (pruners, blowers, edgers, weed whackers, lawn mowers).
Must have handson experience with lawn care equipment (leaf blowers, edgers, lawn tractors, lawn mowers).
This position requires heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. regularly.
