Job description
Overall purpose
Ensure Regent College London complies fully with the relevant Home Office legislation and UKVI compliance aspects of its role as Student License Sponsor, post-enrolment.
Specific duties and responsibilities
- Provide support to students and raise awareness of UKVI rules to new and existing students.
- Monitor noncompletion rates, producing regular reports and implementing responsive measures where necessary.
- Review and recommend appropriate modifications to policies and procedures to ensure the College upholds its duties and responsibilities as a UKVI License Sponsor, and that all aspects of its activities for registered sponsored students are fully compliant with UKVI requirements.
- Liaise with the primary Level 1 user on the College's sponsor license to ensure reportable activity (such as student and institutional change of circumstances etc.) is reported accurately and in a timely manner to UKVI using the Sponsorship Management System.
- Maintain a database of registered sponsored students' records.
- Carry out reviews on student files to ensure compliance with UKVI regulations and that the institution is prepared for any announced or unannounced UKVI HEAT compliance audit visit.
- Act as the main point of contact for staff at all levels within the institution on matters related to the implementation of UKVI regulations for registered students and provide advice on strategic and operational UKVI compliance matters.
- Keep up to date with any Home Office Student Sponsor requirements and ensure any changes are implemented internally.
Additional duties:
- In addition to the above areas of responsibility the UKVI Compliance Officer (postenrolment) may be required to undertake any other reasonable duties relating to the broad scope of the position.

EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL QUALITIES

- _Experience of reviewing student files to ensure compliance with the UKVI rules._
- _Experience of developing internal policies to support UKVI compliance._
- _Highly organised with excellent time management skills._
- _Excellent written and spoken communication skills both verbally and orally._
- _Excellent interpersonal skills._
- _Self-motivated team player who is confident and flexible with the demonstrative ability to establish a strong rapport with key stakeholders._

- _Experience of delivering training to students and staff on UKVI rules._
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Essential: _
- _Experienced in using IT software i.e., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, MS Project, databases._
- _Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines._
- _Ability to use and present numerical information clearly and accurately, according to the requirements of the task in hand._
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Essential: _
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional qualification.
