An excellent opportunity has arisen at our
Gluten Free factory site at Butlerfield Industrial Estate, EH19 3JQ for a back shift Hygiene Operator.

Role:
Hygiene Operator

Shift:
Monday to Friday - 14:00- 22:00

Rate of pay 11.02 rising to 12.37 plus benefits

Job description

Responsible for the deep cleaning of processing equipment and production areas to meet required hygiene standards.
Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks
Appropriate use of industrial chemicals during cleaning processes
Complete necessary computer / paperbased documentation accurately.
Take personal responsibility for health, safety and working environment.
Includes some manual lifting

Key Competencies

Ability to work confidently within a group
Knowledge of COSHH, GMP, and basic food safety would be advantageous
Show drive and determination: Makes things happen & constantly looks for better ways of doing things.
Shows care and attention to the quality of their work and adherence to food manufacturing policies and practices.
Has good numeracy skills and attention to detail
Demonstrates good time management practices: Manages time effectively, prioritizing tasks and able to work to deadlines
Shows initiative in the workplace and is able to adapt successfully to changing situations & environments

Salary:
£11.02-£12.37 per hour
