The Role

Credit Controller Temp to Perm

Purpose of the role/key responsibilities:

  • Chase payments in a proactive and professional manner
  • Prioritise calls to maximise collection on largest and oldest debts
  • Maintain diary with next step actions
  • Liaise with clients to resolve disputes and negotiate payment plans as appropriate
  • Build relationships with internal departments to ensure queries are resolved promptly and accounts placed on hold at the appropriate juncture
  • Maintain up to date contact details and accurate records of communications with clients

Experience and skill set required for the role:

  • The role requires a commercially minded individual who has an enthusiastic and professional approach to cash collection.

Proven experience in a credit control role (service sector experience desirable):

  • The ability to manage a large and varied debtor ledger
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills and the ability to selfmanage
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems including Excel
