Join us as a Test Automation Specialist

  • In this key role, you'll be undertaking and enabling automated testing activities in all delivery models
  • We'll look to you to support your teams to develop highquality solutions and enable the continuous integration and assurance of the defect free deployment of customer value
  • You'll be working closely with feature teams and a variety of stakeholders, giving you great exposure to professional development opportunities

What you'll do:


Additionally, you'll be maintaining the test cases through the Tosca test case design, including templates, reusable test step blocks and classes, while delivering and linking to our requirements.


Your top priorities will include:

  • Conducting workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define test scenarios
  • Scheduling and monitoring the delivery of automated test cases in the Releases function
  • Supporting the design of automation test strategies that're aligned to our business or programme goals
  • Actioning and evolving more predictive and intelligent testing approaches that're based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions
  • Collaborating to refine the scope of manual and automated testing and the creation of automated test scripts, user documentation and artefacts

The skills you'll need:


To be successful in this role, you'll have experience of automated testing, particularly from an Agile development or CI/CD environment, and using the latest testing tools as recommended by the enterprise tooling framework.


You'll be an innovative thinker who can identify opportunities and design solutions and have the ability to develop complex automation code.


Furthermore, you'll need:

  • A background of designing, developing and implementing automation frameworks in new environments
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to management level colleagues
  • Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • An understanding of Agile methodologies and experience of working in an Agile team
  • Knowledge of how to relate everyday work to the strategic vision of the feature
