ABOUT THE ROLE


The FP&A Lead is responsible for supporting the Finance Business Partner and Business management team in areas of financial management, analysis, reporting, planning and forecasting.

The key objective of an FP&A Lead will be achieving sustainable growth and steering business decisions toward defined goals.

The capacity to quickly interpret financials and derive business insights and actions in a fast-paced and uncertain environment are key for the success of the role.

The FP&A Lead will report to the Finance Business Partner.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Financial Management & Analysis of Revenue, Expenses and Free Cash Flow
  • Revenue & Expense variance analysis vs budget and forecast for all different business units
  • Weekly forecasting in close cooperation with the business units and consolidating them into one overall view
  • Play an important role in the monthend and yearend processes by providing monthly estimates prior to close as well as ensuring that the right accruals are made
  • Review and approve Purchase Orders (PO's), ensuring proposed spend is in line with forecast and budget expectations
  • Make sure all costs are captured in the right cost center so that effective profitability tracking is possible
  • Support for any ad hoc requests, projects, or business reviews on an asneeded basis
  • Build annual budgets in cooperation with the business units and in alignment with the global FP&A requirements
  • Liaise between finance and nonfinance teams
  • Close cooperation with the FP&A Hub will support the local FP&A Lead
  • Leverage global analytical tools and processes in accordance with global FP&A guidelines
  • Work closely with European and global FP&A peers in driving best FP&A practices in UK & Ireland

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3+ years in experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Organizational skills with a proficiency in managing the time in an efficient manner
  • Highly motivated
  • Team Player
  • Communicate in an effective way
