The Underwriting Team We are the engine behind the business, collaborating closely with our pricing, machine learning, and wider tech teams to underpin the company's growth and footprint.

As I'm sure that you are aware, data is key, that's why we ingest huge amounts of it from various third parties.

Who are you?

At least two years' experience in personal motor underwriting with some technical and regulatory knowledge
Good experience of risk underwriting with some exposure to account underwriting

An analytical mind

Good knowledge of Excel, Word and other office software
Some knowledge of cars

What will you be doing?
You will assist the existing Motor Team with the growth and development of the motor offering.

The role will include but is not limited to:

Taking case level enquiries from the claims and motor underwriting call centres and offering technical guidance
Conducting internal audits (and peer reviews) of departments with devolved authority from the Motor Team
Creating stats and reports to assist with decisions
Making recommendations based on the output of the stats
Assisting the existing Motor team with the implementation of the strategy and yearly business plan
Assisting the existing Motor, Pricing and Counter-Fraud Teams in optimising pricing, acceptance and footprint of the motor offering
